LIBRARY READ-A-THON

Saturday, February 11 @ 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Grab a book and spend the day reading at the library!
Prizes will be given for most pages and time spent reading as well as attendance prizes throughout the day.
Food welcome during the Read-A-Thon.

ART MASTERS: CALDER & MONET

Saturday, February 25 @ 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Learn about the artists Alexander Calder and Claude Monet and make artwork in the style of their masterpieces.
For ages 8-16 years!  Sign-up required!

BOOK BITES: TEEN BOOK CLUB

Thursday, March 1 @ 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Talk books while eating snacks!  Please read at least one teen book for the meeting.

Learn about American Folk Art and create some art in the style of the Pennsylvania Dutch. 
Projects will include a Bone Spoon and a Hex Sign.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting-Tuesday, February 7th @ 7pm

Have ideas for future events?  Suggestions on what to add to our collection?  Want your voice to be hard?  Come join us and make a difference!

Anti-Valentine Event-Thursday, February 9th @ 7pm

If you’re not a big fan of Valentine’s Day, think Cupid should have his wings clipped, or just want to have fun come to our Anti-Valentine celebration.  Make Anti-Valentine (or Valentine’s) cards, pin mustache’s on famous couples, and vandalize romance novels.

Art Club-Tuesday, February 14th & 28th @ 7pm

A local artist will be teaching different forms of art including anime, still life and more.  This is a beginner’s class.  Please bring your own artist tools.

Bleach Designs-Tuesday, February 21 @ 7pm

Come and use bleach pens to make a shirt uniquely designed by you.  Please bring a black or dark colored shirt of your own choosing that you wouldn’t mind getting bleached.

Photo Club-Thursday, February 23rd @ 4pm

Discover a new world through photography.  Share pictures you’ve taken previously as well as taking new ones of your choosing or of a theme that will be provided.  Please bring your own camera.
